SharkNinja
I started at SharkNinja as a TikTok Content Creator & Video Editor Co-Op in January of 2023. I was craving working in a creatively open and driven team that work towards not only growing our audience, but constantly pushing the boundaries of how our brands fit in the social media space. I saw so much potential in how our brands can explore different social media trends and or video editing styles. During my time at SharkNinja, I’ve expanded my videography, video editing, photography, and photoshop skills through various pieces of content.
Starting at SharkNinja, I worked across all 3 brands (Shark Home, Shark Beauty, and Ninja Kitchen) for both organic and internal testing content where we tested proof of concepts that would later be carried into our social media strategy pertaining to the specific product. Starting in August of 2023, I transitioned as the sole content creator for Shark Home, creating the majority of the content for all social platforms
Later in November of 2023, I was brought on as a full-time employee. During my time at the company, I have created and edited over 300 pieces of content. All across organic social content, internal testing, and for full-funnel teams.
Below, I have created a link to my organic social work and a link to my internal testing and full-funnel content.
Shark Home
I transitioned as the sole content creator for the Shark Home social team in August of 2023. Responsibilities included conceptualizing assets related to trends and how they fit in our brand, conceptualizing assets for launch strategy for new products launches, and conceptualizing evergreen content.
I filmed and edited at least 5 videos a week for our organic social channels and worked closely with the SharkHome Social Media Manager on edits prior to posting. Outside of organic social, I worked closely with the full-funnel team on executing content for our paid rotation. These assets included both video and static imagery. At the peak of creating paid content, I executed 30 pieces of content in 2 days, and had them finalized 2 weeks after shooting content.
Below I have presented my highest performing content as well as my favorite creative assets I created while on the SharkHome team.
Ninja Kitchen
Working with the Ninja team during the first 6 months of my Co-Op, my responsibilities mainly lied in creating content for proof of concept(s) and internal testing. I participated as a videographer for influencer summits, where we would invite influencers in to test our products. I specifically captured content for our Ninja Outdoor Oven and Ninja Combi Maker, creating over 40 pieces of assets total between both products. These assets were used to analyze and produce correct messaging that would later be implemented in social media strategy for future pieces of social media content.
While I was creating organic social content, I initiated and executed creating “ASMR Unboxing” videos for new product launches. The “ASMR” community is incredibly popular on social media, as it is a trend that is used across various concepts. This was the first ASMR Unboxing done on any of our channels, and it is now a technique that has been applied to all product launches across all 3 brands
Shark Beauty
Working with the Shark Beauty team, I solely created internal testing content for social media strategy and messaging purposes. However, I did have a few assets that I executed for social media channels.
